Food Finds in the Lower Hudson Valley

Buona Sera in Mount Vernon

September
1

This just in from a colleague of mine at the JN. I’m always happy to pass on recommendations, so let me know your favorite restaurants, too!

Take it away Desiree:

“You must get tons of emails from co-workers about local restaurants they tried and like. So I hope you don’t mind another one!
Buona Sera in Mount Vernon, well Fleetwood, is a pretty decent Italian restaurant. Had asparagus lightly fried in truffle oil with prosciutto and
a cheese I can’t remember and for entrée almond encrusted tilapia on a bed of spinach. It was pretty good!”

The restaurant is at 546 Gramatan Ave. Call 914-665-9800. And tell them Desiree sent you from Small Bites!
