The third edition of the Guide Michelin to New York City will be released Wednesday. Three restaurants received three stars, the highest rating: Jean Georges, Le Bernardin and Per Se.

Six restaurants received two stars:

Bouley
Daniel
Del Posto
Gordon Ramsay at The London
Masa
Picholine

Picholine — owned by former Scarsdale resident, chef Terrance Brennan — was a one-star last year, so it climbed up a rank. Del Posto and Gordon Ramsey weren’t open in time last year, so they debut at two stars.
And 33 received one star:

Annisa
Anthos
Aureole
A Voce
Babbo
Blue Hill
Café Boulud
Café Gray
Country
Cru
Danube
Dévi
Dressler
Etats-Unis
Fleur de Sel
Gilt
Gotham Bar & Grill
Gramercy Tavern
Jewel Bako
JoJo
Kurumazushi
L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon
The Modern
Oceana
Perry Street
Peter Luger
Saul
Spotted Pig
Sushi of Gari
Veritas

Blue Hill — owned by chef Dan Barber and his brother and sister-in-law, David and Laureen Barber, who also own Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills — joins the one-star list this year, as do Anthos, Dressler, Gilt, JoJo and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon.

Craft, owned by Top Chef judge chef Tom Coliccio, lost its star this year, as did Fiamma, La Goulue and Lever House.

My report from last year.
