Comfort Lounge to Open in Hastings

John Halko, who owns Comfort, the tiny organic restaurant in Hastings, is planning to open Comfort Lounge across the street by the end of the year. He’ll be keeping the original Comfort open for takeout and delivery.
He tells me he’s going for a “modern, rustic approach,” with exposed brick and long banquettes “and more of a lounge appeal.” He’ll do half-portions of his entrees  American food like roasted chicken  and smaller appetizers. It’ll be family friendly early in the evening, and later on it will have more a lounge scene.
Keep a lookout at 583 Warburton. Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson. He doesn’t have a phone yet.
