Food Finds in the Lower Hudson Valley

Last Blog of the Wine & Food Festival

Wow. What a weekend. I hope everyone had a good time. I certainly did. Casino night was a blast, as anyone who saw me at the craps table can attest. And today was quite a bit of fun, too. Chef Dave DiBari’s prosecco brunch was out-of-control delicious, the chef demos were fun, and, around 3, I finally got a chance to get out and taste the wine and food. Here are some photos.

    Hi Liz,
My husband was playing craps next you, you were totally into it and looks like you were having tons of fun.

We went to the Tapas and Tinis party and the Casino night (skipped the day events, went last year) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Both events were beyond my expectations, the food was fabulous both nights and never stopped flowing. My favorites were the fried manchengo, pork sliders from the first night, and Peter Kelly’s coconut shrimp and lobster bisque from the second night.

The cigar/scotch bar was great too and it was fun to try the old scotches.

Would definitely do both events next year if offered.
