Food Finds in the Lower Hudson Valley

Chutney Masala in Irvington Opening Next Week

April
25

I just got the word about the new upscale Indian restaurant in the former Flirt space in Irvington: It will be open in four or five days. I’ll try to stop by and get some photos this afternoon.

Was just down in that area for dinner at Red Hat this week and the views of the Hudson are spec-tac-ular. Hope the food is as good as the location.

The phone number on their website (478-3626) is not in service. I am looking forward to hearing if this place is good. An Indian co-worker said the sounded like it could be Southern Indian food, which would be unusual for Westchester (he said there are none currently). So if you speak to someone from there, please ask that.

We do a quarterly lunch after the company earnings are reported, so we are due for a meal in the next couple of weeks. If this place is open, we’ll definitely try it (unless someone posts that it is awful before we get there :-) ).
