    i dislike mother’s day anything. this should be a day when you do for mom what she did for you. cook and whatever.. not take her out. I always hated doing that. i rather bring her flowers and cook her a meal or something…

    Thanks – We kicked off Sunday Brunch at the Rye Roadhouse yesterday and although being an owner I’m biased, I have to say that it was quite impressive.  Chef Joe Baynes serves up a unique creole presentation of traditional brunch items, so be prepared for a little extra sweetness and a little extra spice http://www.theryeroadhouse.com/menu1.htm).

    Rye, New York—La Panetiere owner, Jacques Loupiac is pleased to invite patrons to a delicious Mother’s Day dinner, on Sunday May 11 from noon-8:00pm. The Mother’s Day menu will be a prix fixe menu of five courses, for $75 plus $ 55 extra if guests would like to enjoy a wine pairing. Moms will also enjoy a small box of decadent chocolates, a gift to them on their special day. The Restaurant will also offer its ala carte menu.

    Please call for reservations at (914) 967-8140. La Panetiere is located at 530 Milton Road in Rye, New York. The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday – Friday from noon-2:30 pm and on Sunday from noon-2:30 pm.     There will probably be stuff for vegetarians, the problem is you’re paying a ridiculous price for the buffet in most places and you’re not able to eat most of it.

    Speaking of which, why do kids over 12 have to pay adult prices? Especially when alcohol is included for the adults, shouldn’t there at least be SOME discount for teens? Not all kids eat like adults (or worse).
