Some conversation starters:
Dan Barber’s Op-Ed on small farms. (NY Times.)
Adam Platt on the Hudson Valley food with Italian influences at Olana in the city. (NY mag.)
A blog I just discovered over the weekend discusses Hudson Valley wines: The Wine Goddess.
(BTW, one of you sent me a link to your blog — I remember one post was about tipping in cash — and I accidentally deleted the e-mail. Please send again and I will add you to my blogroll.)
Other blogs on the blogroll include:
Westchester Magazine’s Eater
Hungry Travels
Cooking with Rinku
Explore and enjoy! And let me know if I’m missing any good local links.

I would like to nominate my wife Pam Goldberg for favorite home cook. A culinary graduate from The Natural Gourmet School, in New York City, Pam and her partner have formed a company. 1 Sweet World Inc., speacilizing in Gluten free desserts. They only use organic ingredients. You name a dessert and they'll duplicate it Gluten free with no loss in presentation or taste. Our kitchen is her laboritory.
