From a press release:

“Taste and Tour Yonkers”
Event to Benefit the Food Bank for Westchester

Yonkers, NY, May 13, 2008… 66main on the Yonkers waterfront (an area recently dubbed “SoYo”) will sponsor “Taste and Tour Yonkers” Tuesday, May 20 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the event space at 66main, capturing the culinary cachet of the area in an event to benefit the Food Bank for Westchester.

The event will feature tasty morsels from area restaurants such as Zuppa, Bukhara, the Pier View and Tombolinos, will also showcase the designer apartments at 66main.  For each tour of an apartment, MetroPartners, the development company, will donate $1.00 to the Food Bank for Westchester.

“Taste and Tour Yonkers is just one of many events 66main hosts to introduce the waterfront to people looking for unique living that is affordable, contemporary and close-to-Manhattan,” said Kenneth Dearden of MetroPartners, the development company.  “And nothing brings people together better than food, drink and great living spaces!”

The units at 66main, many of which boast Hudson River views are nearly all rented as the Yonkers waterfront area becomes more and more popular as a destination for young professionals, empty-nesters, and small business owners who view these unique apartments as a perfect space to live, work, or both.

Metropartners is a real estate development and property management company based in Yonkers, New York. Their focus is building and managing “community-friendly” properties in urban areas. For more information, call 914-410-9090 or go to www.66main.com
