Food Finds in the Lower Hudson Valley

Whole Foods Market Opening in Closter, N.J., Yonkers Coming Along, Too

May

Whole Foods announced in its quarterly report today that it will be opening a store in Closter, NJ. That will be closer to many Rocklanders than the current Edgewater or White Plains locations. I have an e-mail in to spokesman Fred Shank to find out more details, like the exact address and when it will open.

Also, according to Whole Foods spokesman Fred Shank, the Yonkers store will be open in late 2009.

The location is in Ridge Hill, off Interstate 87. It is a new street and the address has not been issued yet. The store will be 63,000 square feet and will open in late 2009.
