From a press release: LA PANETIERE INVITES GUESTS TO A COOKING DEMONSTRATION AND LUNCHEON ON TUESDAY AUGUST 19, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20 OR THURSDAY AUGUST 21 AT 11:30 a.m.
La Panetiere will demonstrate for patrons how to prepare a delicious crab cake with tartar sauce, followed by a three course lunch with the crab cake being served as the entree-
July 22, 2008-Rye, New York-La Panetiere invites you to join us on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, August 19, 20 and 21 at 11:30 am for the second in our series of cooking demonstrations. Chef Arik Bensimon will take participants through all the steps of preparing a delicious crab cake with tarter sauce, to be followed by a three-course prix fixe lunch with the crab cake served as the entrée.
La Panetiere’s prix fixe lunch is $25.00 (not including beverages, tax or tip). The lunch which follows the cooking demonstration will begin approximately at noon. Please call La Panetiere for reservations for this wonderful demonstration at (914) 967-8140. Seating for each day of this demonstration is limited to 30 people so please call early.
La Panetiere is located at 530 Milton Road in Rye, New York. The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday – Friday from noon-2:30 pm and on Sunday from noon-2:30 pm. The Restaurant offers dinner seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm and on Sundays from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
We hope you will also join us for our 23 anniversary celebration August 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th and again during the second week of the month, August 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th. Served on these evenings, during our regular dinner hours, the Anniversary menu will be a prix fixe menu of five courses, for $75 plus $ 48 extra if guests would like to enjoy a wine pairing. The Restaurant will also offer its a ï€Â la carte menu.

La Panetiere is one of the country’s most renowned restaurants. Known for its contemporary French cuisine and an award winning wine list, the Restaurant boasts its own wine cellar on premises.  The restaurant is lavishly decorated in the style of Provence and the building itself carries some interesting history, originally built in the 1800’s and maintaining its integrity. Located in Rye, NY La Panetiere owner Jacques Loupiac, is a veteran in the Restaurant business, having had his start at culinary school in 1985. Nice and then eventually opening the elegant La Panetiere The Restaurant’s marvelous cuisine is created by Head Chef Jean Marc Cabirol with wonderful contemporary French offerings and home made desserts, by on-site Pastry Chef, Didier Berlioz.
La Panetiere offers off site catering as well as three private party rooms that are perfect for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events and holiday parties. Specialty menus are created uniquely for each event.
