in September at the Nyack Farmers’ Market

NYACK, NY-   In September, shoppers can shop comfortably in the cooler air for their favorite regionally grown products.   Although, not quite the harvest season, the farm stands are full with the widest array of produce of the season.

Below, the schedule of events.

Throughout September, shoppers can enjoy the following produce:  beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, eggplants, garlic, herbs, kale, peppers, radishes, scallions, squash, lettuce, mesclun and other greens, onions, potatoes, turnips, spinach, apples, cantaloupes, grapes, peaches, pears, plums, watermelons and fresh cut flowers.
Children’s Hour Schedule:  10:00am
September 4 – Planet Art with Amy Moss
September 11- Music Together with Catherine Rubin
September 18- Story Hour with Carol Baxter
September 25- Story Hour with Carol Baxter
The Nyack Farmers’ Market is open every Thursday, rain or shine, through November.  It is located in the municipal parking lot on Main Street.  Optimum Triple Play is proud to sponsor the market.  For further information, call Lorie Reynolds at the Chamber of Commerce of the Nyacks at 353-2221.
