Food Finds in the Lower Hudson Valley

Update on Greg Cortelyou of Sunset Grille in White Plains

August
13

As I mentioned the other day, Sunset Grill in White Plains has closed. I emailed with former chef Gregory Cortelyou, who told me he’d actually been gone since January. He’s now working as a executive Chef at the United Nations International School in Manhattan and as a private chef for a family in Manhattan and South
Hampton.

Greg says:

I am happy with the way things have turned out for me, though it was very sad to leave the restaurant so suddenly. I do still have a dream to have my own place sometime up here, but now is a risky time to open a restaurant. I will certainly let you know if and when that happens.

I’ve got some other emails out to find out what’s next for both the space the former owners.

It would be nice if the former owners of this restaurant would take down the website (I got friends to meet us there for dinner last night, oops).
