Food Finds in the Lower Hudson Valley

Fall Restaurant Preview: Rye Grill

September
5

Everybody’s waiting for the Rye Grill to reopen. Pearl Management Group (Ruby’s Oyster Bar, Morgans Fish House, Lexington Square Cafe, The Tap House) razed the building and is rebuilding from the bottom up. Owner Jim Sullivan hopes to open before the holidays this year. “People want The Rye Grill back,” he says. “They stop me in the street to compliment me on the new design.” That design? At timeless clapboard look that will sport a clock tower, a front porch, private rooms and two bars. The menu will cater to everyone: burgers, fish, steaks, salads for lunch and dinner. “The same idea as we did but done better,” says Sullivan.1 Depot Plaza, Rye. No phone yet.
