Via Quadronno Introduces New Prix Fixe Lunch and Brunch Menus

Weekend Brunch and Business Lunch Menus Debut at Popular Downtown Dining Destination

WHITE PLAINS, NY (November 2008) – This week, Via Quadronno, one of the region’s most distinctive new dining destinations, introduced new brunch and lunch menus offering diners new and different ways in which to experience the restaurant’s fare.

The Business Prix-Fixed Menu, which is available Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., offers choices for a three-course lunch for a value-conscious $20 a person. The first course is a choice of the soup of the day or a baby green salad with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and roasted peppers. The second course is either chicken Milanese with mashed potatoes or a grilled wild salmon over sautéed broccoli rabe. The final course is 2 scoops of gelato, or Via Quadronno’s signature tiramisu. Regular coffee is also included.

The Weekend Italian-Style Brunch Menu is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and includes a complimentary mimosa or bellini with each dish. Menu options on the breakfast side include a vegetable frittata served with roasted potatoes and sliced tomatoes, a ham and fontina cheese omelet, and scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms and sweet salami served over a salad. On the lunch side, options include pan-fried breaded mozzarella served with a peppers coli sauce, seared veal meatballs, polenta with gorgonzola cheese and speck, and an egg drop soup with baby spinach and clams. Prices range from $9-11 per dish.

“We’re pleased to be adding these two new menus to our daily offerings at Via Quadronno,” said Judy Cerruzzi, Manager at Via Quadronno. “They offer a wide range of options at the right price point which is very important in today’s economy.”

Via Quadronno, which traces its roots to Milan and which has emerged as one of Manhattan’s most popular dining spots, is the newest specialty restaurant to come to White Plains. Situated at Renaissance Square in the heart of downtown, the restaurant occupies the street level space in the historic Bar Building at 199 Main Street adjacent to The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester.

With the two gleaming 44-story condominium towers of The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester as a backdrop, Via Quadronno underscores the continuing emergence of the city’s downtown as a hub for a broad array of dining experiences.

Via Quadronno— which is open for lunch and dinner daily — offers a unique Italian café-like culinary experience including its signature panini sandwiches, gelatos, espresso and other Italian specialty coffees. It features a full bar offering a wide selection of Italian wines.

The 3,000 square-foot restaurant seats 80 patrons and can accommodate about 60 for outdoor dining in warmer weather. It is opens from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Sunday. Reservations can be made online at www.opentable.com.
