Another Asian Fusion in White Plains?

July
30

I noticed this sign right next to Tango Grill on East Post Road in White Plains the other day:

Full Moon Asian and Thai Cuisine? Anyone know anything? No numbers on the door, no other signs that I could see.

Full Moon is due to open very soon. Had the pleasure of meeting the new owner at my open house. The contact number is 914-328-7555. I hope this is helpful.

Agree with Deborah. I stopped by the other day, when I saw open door, and spoke with the owner. He has owned/operated several other places over the river over the years.

All he is waiting for, in order to start his cold opening, is the final walk thru. So any day now…..

I wish a restaurant entrepreneur would someday realize that if they opened something along the lines of Sripaphai in Westchester that it would make a killing!

Don’t get me wrong, I love Asian fusion, but its just not the same thing!

I went here with my girlfriend a couple weeks ago, right after they had just opened up. We found this place by looking online for BYOB Thai Restaurants in White Plains. We brought a bottle of wine with us. It was a nice small elegant atmosphere. There were lots of decorations all over, which were really amazing (straight from Thailand).

My GF got the Panag w Chicken and rice and I had Chicken w the Green Curry sauce, veggies and sticky rice. We also got Spring Rolls as the appetizer. Everything was ABSOLUTELY amazing. A 12 out of 10.

We were chatting with our waiter and introduced ourselves to the owner. The owner brought us out all their curry sauces and rice as well as fried bananas for dessert (all free of charge).

The whole dining experience was an A+ and the prices were marvelous! We loved it so much that we got the same exact thing last night as takeout. We will also go back a bunch more times.

Only complaint – they should have a website, so more people can find the restaurant and check out the menu etc.

    Regards,
    -John
