Benefit on Dec. 3 at Tuscany Bistro in Tappan

November
25

Tuscany Bistro will host a benefit called Dining for D.O.V.E. from 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 3.  A three-course $25 menu will be served during a fashion show. Proceeds will be donated to NY Presbyterian Hospital’s D.O.V.E. program, (Domestic and Other Violent Emergencies.)

All the info, in a press release, after the jump.

Planned is an elegant evening of fashion and dining featuring fashions shown throughout the night modeled by students and women of Bergen county who have volunteered their time and talent to help raise funds for a most noble cause, the D.O.V.E. program at NY Presbyterian Hospital.  D.O.V.E is a hospital sponsored program that provides comfort and advice to victims of rape and domestic violence when those victims are admitted to NY Presbyterian’s emergency room.  D.O.V.E. is staffed primarily by trained volunteer advocates who are usually the first friendly voices heard by such victims.

A new startup boutique, Milano Gowns and Dresses of Westwood, NJ, is donating designer fashions for the fundraiser.   Milano Gowns and Dresses opens for business November 16 and is located at 288 3rd Ave in Westwood,  (Phone 201-383-0970)
